Conference Invitational Speech Event
The Diagonal Speech Team traveled to Twin Cedars for a Individual Event conference speech contest on Monday, February 24. Those students earning a Division 1 Rating, which is considered excellent, are:

Ashlynn Allee - Storytelling
Students earning a Division 2 Rating, which is considered very good, are:
Weston Drake - Poetry
Cadance Shiflett - Prose
Jaylynn Doolittle - Poetry
Coach Pam Hoffman said, “This meet is important, because it gives students a chance to see what they do well and how they can improve before the next contest. These kids did a great job and represented Diagonal well! After the contest, the team enjoyed lunch together as team bonding, and everyone had a great time!”
